Superman 2: The Gamer. Read About It In The Latest Geek Freak of the Week

I'll start off with a poem

It was a slow news week and there's nothing new. Henry Cavill builds a computer? Okay, that will do!

Superman Builds A Super-Computer

Watch out Batman, Superman can build technology. This just shows that anyone can build a computer for personal use or gaming. And it proves no superpowers are required. Someone actually priced this out and it looks like all the components would be priced out to about $5200. For The Witcher actor, that's an hour of work.

The Clone Wars Continue

Remember when Disney said that the new season of Clone Wars was going to be the last one? Ha, just kidding. It was actually an opportunity to introduce a new set of characters so Disney can get a new series going. Star Wars: The Bad Batch tells the story of Clone Troopers that were "less desirable" in the cloning process. I could explain it...but I'll let the Clones themselves tell there tale. The series is set to debut on Disney+ in 2021.

Anakin...NO!

Along with the Bad Batch there was also some live action news in the galaxy far, far, away. Hayden Christensen is rumored to return in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. But...how? When this series is said to take place it will be when Obi-Wan (played by Ewan McGregor) is on Tattooine watching over the young Luke Skywalker. According to this article by ComicBook.com Obi-Wan will be having flashbacks to the Clone Wars and we;ll see the two in action. Actually, it'll be more of them debating and fighting most likely. If this does takes place will this be redemption for Hayden Christensen for how he portrayed Anakin in the prequels? We'll have to see when the Kenobi series comes out on Disney+.

Grounded

The Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier release date has been delayed. The series was set to debut next month on Disney+ however due to Covid-19, the shows production was shut down when it was being filmed in Prague, Czech Republic and other European cities. So far Disney has not announced a new release date.

Like I said, slow week for geek gossip and nerd news. Don't forget to check out the latest Geek Freak of the Week Podcast on iHeart Radio! Until next week, I'm Maz and that's the latest Geek Freak of the Week!
