Back in the 1990's, and WAY before Disney owned Marvel Comics, Disney introduced Darkwing Duck, a spin-off from the popular Ducktales series and their way of saying they had a Batman-type character. At this time Batman: The Animated Series was dominating in the afternoons.
Last summer, the rebooted Ducktales series on Disney Channel and Disney XD introduced a Darkwing Duck into their continuity (and in a very clever way).
This trailer, a parody of The Batman teaser we saw from DC Fandome, was inevitable but I'm glad it's here.
