Racing In
Whether it's in theaters or on a Paramount+, the sequel to the 2020 summer movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, is set to arrive in 2022. Knuckles, Sonic's friendly rival, is scheduled to make an appearance in the next movie. Jason Momoa has reportedly been offered the role...that story here.
Jokers Back
Jared Leto is back as The Joker...in the Snyder Cut. Here's a good look at the "updated" look of the clown prince of crime. Does he look better and more "joker-like" than what we saw in Suicide Squad? When the trailer drops this Sunday, expect a cameo.
Kicked Out of the Unit
The Force couldn't help out with this. Gina Carano a.k.a. Cara Dune from The Mandalorian has been fired from LucasFilms and will not appear in any future season of the hit series on Disney+ or the spin-off Rangers of the New Republic.
LucasFilm terminated her employment after she posted a controversial post on her Instagram:
“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views.”
The hashtag #CancleDisneyPlus has been trending since this announcement.
