Justice League...Re-Unite!
Your dry spell is over fellow Snyder Cut fans. Right now, streaming on HBO Max is the four-hour and six-part version of Zack Snyder's Justice League. Go. Watch.
A sequel was planned years ago, with Zack at the helm. Is that still happening? Well, if there is, it doesn't look like he will be apart of it. According to an interview with Deadline, the director is busy working on his next film, Army of the Dead, trying to get a war-time piece film off the ground, and starting a new series for HBO Max. What do they all have in common? None of those projects involve superheroes.

Shields...And Metal Arms...At The Ready
If you have already watched Zack Snyder's Justice League and still have the eagerness to watch MORE superhero stories, then head on over to Disney+ and catch the anticipated buddy-cop adventures of Sam and Bucky or as it's called on Disney+, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It has been revealed that this series picks up six months after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Sam might have been given the shield from Steve Rogers himself, but is he the one to carry out the legacy or is there someone else that wants it? And no, I don't mean Bucky.
Alright, let's take a bet. Who hits who first out of annoyance or loss of patience?
A Goliath Moment
If the Snyder Cut wasn't released, this story would have been first in this week's Geek Freak. Ducktales aired its series finale this past Monday, March 19th on Disney XD. The series was quickly known for reintroducing characters from the former Disney Afternoon Block into continuity, whether as a cameo or part of the story itself. The most noticeable was Darkwing Duck, however, we also saw Goofy from Goof Troop, the cast of rodents from Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, a quick trip to see Kit Cloudkicker and Molly Cunningham, even a quick reference to the Gummi Bears TV series and Bonkers!
One fan-favorite show, Gargoyles, was noticeably absent and most thought would be tricky to achieve. Well, those creative SOBs were able to do it AND with a character that has been on screen since season one. Check out the quick video below.
Amazing, right?! In the last episode, no doubt! Furthermore, they were able to secure the voice talents of Keith David, who voiced Goliath in the original Gargoyles series. Want to see the full thing instead of that 15-second clip? The final episode of Ducktales will be airing again on Disney XD so set those DVRs! Trust me, it's worth it! Return, The Clone Wars Have
Wait, what?! It's back? HOW?! Okay, stay with me here.
Before there was The Clone Wars on Cartoon Network, and Netflix, and Disney+, there was The Clone Wars...on Cartoon Network. Not the same thing. The Clone Wars I'm referring to was a development between toy-giant Hasbro and LucasFilm. To help toy sales for the Star Wars prequels (which Hasbro has the license for and still does to this day), an animated tv series was born and Cartoon Network began airing episodes between 2003-2005.
As the title suggests, this took place during the famous Clone Wars in a galaxy far far away and released before Revenge of the Sith flew into theaters. This series introduced Asajj Ventress into cannon along with showing an origin to why General Grevious has a smoker's cough. In fact, the very last scene of the last episode leads directly into the Battle of Coruscant.
The episodes were short, the maximum length was 12 mins in some cases. In fact, some episodes barely had any dialogue in them. It was a great series that is often overlooked and forgotten about. When you see it, you'll love it. I have faith in the force that you will.
The Clone Wars volumes I and II arrive on Disney+ on Friday, April 2nd.
Let There Be Delays
Sorry, Venom fans. The follow-up of the 2018 sleeper hit, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has been pushed from its rescheduled date of July 2021 to sometime in September or late 2021 according to a statement from Sony.
You are allowed to have a moment and scream in anger.
