I can 100% say for certain that the version of Godzilla vs Kong that is streaming on HBO Max right now is 1000% better than the 1962 fight. However, it's always good to be reminded of the past.
1962 was an odd year for movies, wasn't it? The epic (and more intense) battle of the titans is streaming now on HBO Max until Friday, April 30th. Go watch or get an account, NOW!
And now...we geek out!
Black Adam Release Date
Last Sunday, March 28th, Dwayne THE ROCK Johnson decided to drop some big news. Black Adam, "the champion" that the Wizard chose before Billy Batson to carry on the power of Shazam, will be coming to theaters on July 29th, 2022.
Obi-Wan Series Is The Only Hope
The hermit days of Obi-Wan Kenobi will be coming to Disney+ in 2022. Looks like the former Jedi Master and Clone War veteran will have some company. Looks like Jar-Jar Binks isn't making any type of appearance...yet.
Batman Gets A Voice
Jensen Ackles, famously known as Dean Winchester from CW's Supernatural is going to be voicing the Dark Knight in the next animated movie Batman: The Long Halloween. This isn't Ackles's first time voicing a character in a Batman film. Back in 2010, he voiced the older and resurrected Jason Todd/Red Hood in Batman: Under the Red Hood. Now, he IS Batman. The Long Halloween is based on the 1996-1997 comic book series of the same name written by Jeph Lobb.
Although no official release day has been announced, we do know that the movie will be split into two parts with the first being released sometime this summer and part two being released this fall.
Deploy The Bad Batch
The Clone Wars spin-off series, THE BAD BATCH is coming to a galaxy far far away on May 4th, 2021. Until that time arrives, here's a look at their first trailer for the series.
From the looks of it, this series takes place AFTER the Clone Wars and Order 66. Does this mean we will see the crew meet up with anyone from Star Wars Rebels?
Get The Squad
Last week we got a first look at the next Suicide Squad movie. This week we received another trailer. The difference? This one is swear-free BUT has some different footage. Go watch.
The Meme Comes Alive
The line was used in the trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League but we never heard the line in the movie. Here's an extended cut that includes the line.
Both Zack Snyder's Justice League AND Zack Snyder's Justice League: "Justice Is Grey" is streaming on HBO Max.
