Turtle Power!
Another reboot for our favorite masked reptiles is on the way from Seth Rogan. Well, yeah we knew that. But now we have a release date! August 11, 2023.
The CGI movie has been described as a "Superbad story for the Ninja Turtles". No, not a super BAD story like the movies and plots from the past but a plot similar to one of Seth Rogan's most popular films, Superbad. McLovin making an appearance?
That's Some Logo
Ever since the announcement came down the line that AT&T was spinning off WarnerMedia so that it can merge with new-parent company Discovery, the rumor mill was swirling with new names. Some that were floated around were: WarnerDiscovery, Discoveryverse, and my personal favorite Discovery's Warner Media Company. Yeah, creative, right? The new name of the Discovery and Warner Media merger is...Warner Bros. Discovery.
And the new logo? Looks like something was made in clip art on Microsoft Word. I already miss the name WarnerMedia.
Eternally Grateful
Since last week I was off, I missed posting this. Better late than never! Here's the trailer for Marvel's next big film the Eternals.
Warner Bros: A Disney Company
In both DC and Marvel, there is the concept of the multi-verse. With that said, in another timeline, this happened and is real. In some alternate world, Disney was the one who purchased TimeWarner instead of AT&T back in 2016.
Good move? Bad move? That's up for debate. However, one can't wonder what it would be like to see Iron Man and Batman on screen together. Or even better...an interaction between Shazam, the original Captain Marvel, played by Zachary Levi, and Marvel's Captain Marvel played by Brie Larson! That is one scene that many comic book fans would love to see and settle
After this revelation of what-could-have-been, it looked like Disney was only interested in Warner Brothers studios and their film library but not all of TimeWarner's properties. Jupiter Away...
Well, that didn't last long. After much hype and anticipation, Netflix has canceled its freshman series Jupiter's Legacy due to low viewership. Did you watch it?
New Suit Riot
This past Thursday, Zachari Levi unveiled the new suit he will be sporting in Shazam! Fury of the Gods. Well, sort of...
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is set to arrive in June of 2023.
