The Power Is On
This weekend that is! Grab those morphers and spandex and get ready for Power Morphicon, the official Power Rangers fan convention available only on their official YouTube channel.
Last year's Morphicon was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and then postponed to this weekend in 2021. Unlike other big conventions such as San Diego ComicCon, WonderCon, and E3, this event is bi-yearly. The next one is scheduled for 2022 and then again in 2024.
The event kicks off on Saturday, June, 19th but here is a quick preview with the founder of Power Morphicon, Scott Zillner, and Bruno from the YouTube channel MMPR Toys.
The War Is Coming...Tomorrow.
Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, Sam Richardson, and J.K.Simmons are gearing up and heading to war....in the future. The trailer explains it better. This movie is skipping the theaters and arriving only on Amazon Prime Video on July 2nd, 2021.

Speaking of streaming services, Disney+ has made another bold statement...with the success of their new series Loki releasing new episodes on Wednesdays, Disney has decided that ALL of their content will follow. This includes all future series for the streaming service like She-Hulk, Secret Invasion, and Moon Knight along with existing series like The Mandalorian. The mid-week slump is finally getting a kick in the ass.
Titans...GO!
The first trailer for Titans season 3 is here. Along with a new trailer featuring the familiar faces of Nightwing, Robin, Starfire, Hawk, Dove, Raven, Beast Boy, and the other teen heroes of the DC universe, the series has a new home over at HBO Max.
New to the table this year is Red Hood, aka Jason Todd, the former Robin. The season is drawing inspiration from the 80's Batman classic "A Death in the Family" where Jason Todd is beaten and killed by The Joker. Later, he is resurrected (this is comic books after all...) and returns as The Red Hood. Does this mean we will see Iian Glen suited up as the Dark Knight in the series? That wasn't shown in this teaser, but it could happen.
Titans season three will arrive on HBO Max on August 12, 2021.
