"Coon" Cheese Changing Its Name

Australia's Coon cheese will soon have a new name.

The company had previously resisted calls to pick a new name, saying it honored American cheesemaker Edward William Coon. Now, the company is renaming the brand in an effort to help "eliminate racism". Coon cheese has been around since 1935.

A new name hasn't been announced yet. The decision comes on the heels of other companies going through name changes associated with racial stereotypes, including Aunt Jemima and Eskimo Pie. Are there other products that should also change names?
