Hundreds Of Thousands Of Dead Birds-Mystery In New Mexico Is Crazy

Biologists are trying to get to the bottom of a big bird mystery in New Mexico. Hundreds of thousands of dead birds are showing up in different parts of the state.

The birds include warblers, bluebirds, sparrows, blackbirds, and flycatchers. Biologists believe the wildfires burning in California and Oregon might be to blame. They think the birds were possibly forced into early migration before they were ready or maybe they inhaled smoke and had extensive lung damage.
