Dinosaur-Sized Alligator Strolls Florida Golf Course

While Florida residents have become accustomed to seeing alligators strolling around golf courses from time to time, a "dinosaur-sized" gator that appeared in Naples recently had golfers running for cover.

While the reptile might not actually have been as large as a traditional dino, it was big enough to appear menacing in spite of paying no attention to any of the people on the course -- more than 10 feet long, witnesses estimate. One man, who previously encountered a seven-foot gator on another course, commented, "Golfing in Florida is just different." What's the craziest thing you've seen on a golf course? Why don't Florida courses have fences to keep gators out?
