Talk about abs of steel. Australian Daniel Scali just broke the Guinness World Record for holding a plank position for more than 9 hours.
To be precise, he held it for 9 hours, 30 minutes, and 1 second.
That beat the previous world record holder from the U.S. who held a plank for 8 hours, 15 minutes, and 15 seconds last year. Scali said it certainly wasn't easy. "It was a full head-to-toe experience of constant pain. My feet were numb. My knees were burning. My thighs were burning. My left arm felt like it was on fire. But it was all worth it in the end."
