LeBron James To Be Owner Of NHL Team? Why Not? He Owns Part Of The Red Sox

LeBron James is about to add another title to his resume -- NHL franchise owner.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Fenway Sports Group (FSG), a multi-billion dollar company with which LeBron is a partner, is now on the verge of purchasing the Pittsburgh Penguins. FSG currently owns the Boston Red Sox as well as Liverpool Football Club of the English Premier League. According to the report, the Penguins deal could be finalized by later this week.

CNBC says the Lakers superstar owns roughly 2% of FSG. James reportedly invested $6.2 million in the company back in 2011; his share now is estimated to be worth $52 million. If you could buy any pro sports team, which one would you pick? What's the first move you would make?
