We're not sure what's worse - plunging the car into the river or the fact that you had just paid to have it washed. A 64-year-old in New Jersey inadvertently hit the gas has she drove her SUV out of a Hackensack car wash - and straight into the water. NBC New reports a bystander ran into the river - helping to pull Evelyn Asperilla and her 27-year-old passenger to safety. Police noted the absence of barricades which would have prevented the incident. Video shows the car wash exit sits only feet from the river.
