The Venn diagram of KISS fans and those who play Pokémon must have overlapping circles with the franchise releasing a new character on Wednesday that takes its styling from the make-up wearing rockers. While not part of an official collaboration with the band, Gene Simmons is nonetheless thrilled by the nod. "Pokémon has been a part of our household for decades, ever since our kids first discovered them," the singer-bassist tells Newsweek, adding, "And to see Pokémon pay homage to KISS, is flattering."
