A New Hampshire woman is fighting to keep her vanity license plate after the state DMV decided it was inappropriate. For 15 years, Wendy Auger has had a license plate that read "PB4WEGO", something any parent of young children can appreciate. But now she's received a recall letter from the DMV, who says "phrases related to excretory acts aren't permitted". Auger is appealing the recall, saying "Who has a mom or dad or parental figure who hasn’t said that to kids before leaving the house?" Should "PB4WEGO" be considered inappropriate? My vote is that if it was fine and good 15 years ago, that thing should be grandfathered in, who is really irked by this?
Update: Governor Sununu stepped in and rescinded the recall, so the woman gets to keep the plate.
