It took a global pandemic, but a Chinese city is finally banning its citizens from eating dogs and cats. The city of Shenzen, in Wuhan province, will ban the consumption of dogs and cats beginning May 1st, calling it not only "common practice in developed countries", but part of "the demand and spirit of human civilization". The ban is part of wider restrictions on the city's wildlife markets, which may be where the coronavirus pandemic first originated. What's the most unusual animal you've eaten?
