Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson: "I'm Suffering from An Incurable Lung Disease"

In a teaser clip for May 13th's The Big Interview with Dan Rather, Jethro Tull founder and vocalist Ian Anderson reveals that he has "been suffering from an incurable lung disease" over the last couple of years.

The disease, COPD, gives Anderson infections that easily turns to bronchitis. He takes medication when the flareups strike but told Rather "My days are numbered." Anderson said he believes that spending decades on stage with smoke machines called "hazers" contributed to diagnosis.

Do you know anyone who suffers from COPD? What's the biggest battle against the disease?
