You may only know Leslie West from his iconic song with Mountain 'Mississippi Queen' (go ahead and sing it, "Do you know what I mean?" ) It has to be one of the most recognized guitar riffs ever but there is so much more. Leslie passed away in December of 2020 and now the guitar players who were touched by his legacy want to pay tribute to him on "Legacy: A Tribute to Leslie West" due out March 25th. The guest list is impressive; Slash, Zakk Wylde, George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen, Robby Krieger, Randy Bachman, the names goes on and on. Just looking at the guitar players Leslie has inspired makes me want to explore more of his music.
