A man gave the most unique reason as to how he ended up in a stolen BMW, that got him hospitalized after the car crashed during a high-speed drive that reached over 100 mph.
The car’s owner said he left the vehicle unlocked with the keys inside the cupholder while walking his dog. He then, reported the car stolen and it was found crashed, as witnesses pulled the driver from the wreckage. They, reported to deputies that the car was going extremely fast before it veered off the road. Calvin Curtis Johnson, who was found in the car denied stealing it, instead claiming he was teleported into it.
Needless, to say Johnson was taken to the hospital for treatment, and once released, he is will be transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail on charges of grand theft and driving with a suspended license. It has not been reported whether or not there will be an investigation into the teleportation.
