One more day. Is that too much to ask?

I know. I say that all the time- but I had a pretty good weekend, actually!
Friday night found us at Batson River Brewing in Wells ME!
Had a great time with our friends Gary and Lorraine and their daughter Maddie! Beers were good too! I can't remember what the name of what I tried was- all I know is that it was a Pilsner.
Still not a connoisseur, obviously- hahah...
Also ventured over to nearby Wells Beach where a 4 ton (so I was told) ocean buoy thrown up on the shore during the last storm. It's a beacon for ships, and I think also communicates coordinates of ships as well to the Coast Guard. Regardless of what it does- it's a friggin HUGE chunk of iron that was tossed WAYYYYYY up on the beach! Its been there for a couple weeks and everybody on the planet has taken pics of it.
Except me.
So since it is getting removed by the Coast Guard and put back in the ocean on Monday - I thought I'd go see where it is and decide if I wanted to photograph before the weekend was through.
Told ya it was big. So after seeing it, I decided to hit it on Sunday morning, it's last full day on the sand. And even though there were no clouds to color the sky- here's a couple I got of it at sunrise -

Saturday afternoon, I felt like a little ass kicking movie was in order- so I punched up Jason Stathan in The Bee Keeper.
Here's the thing - in this movie- I almost had more lines than Stathan did - and I ain't even IN IT! I mean - he's got like, 10 lines- that's it!
And you know what? I didn't care! Loved it! It's 100% a revenge movie against scammers with a big plot twist. I'd give it an 8. It won't win any awards, but who cares? It was just what I wanted!
Saturday night we had dinner with Valerie's brother and his wife. Had some great seafood at SURF!
Seriously - everything we had was on point! Nice work, Surf!
Got a chance to check in on the birds (eagles) this weekend too, and I noticed an incredibly dumb trespasser!

And last but not least- while I was out walking on Saturday- I ran into this guy.
I've talked about him on the air before- so let me introduce you to my neighbors CAT -
STEVE!!!!
Steve is his name, and he's the coolest cat ever. Loves to come over and say "Hi" and let me pat him! Seriously - the only cool cat I know! (Well, Kayla's cat Bear is pretty cool...)
Sunday is the chill day at the house. Breakfast with the parents, then chilled at home for the day watching the Celts destroy The Heat, and then kids came over for dinner Sunday night
