My weekend started Wednesday, which is a day earlier than normal. Granted, I DID work Thursday and Friday - but I took a roadtrip on Wednesday up to the White Mountains, and it felt like a mini vacation - so there's that.
In my job, I'm lucky that on some days, I can split right at 10 and head for someplace cool with the camera. On Wednesay I decided, with all the sucky weather lately- I figured I didn't need the sun to photograph waterfalls- so that's what I went looking for in the mountains.
I started with a run through Franconia and Sugar Hill where I went in search of a bear sighting, but came up empty. Had to stop in Bethlehem though for a coffee!

And once I got on the waterfall run - I ended up here- at Bemis Falls. Nice moderate hike to get to it, but worth it! Beautiful spot!

It was a great day, and if you want to see more from it - check out the next post on my page! It's a video I made of the day and the places I hit-
NEXT!
Friday night our Brew Tour stopped at The Bratskellar in Portsmouth for some pizza and beer!
And Valerie and Lorraine got a little piece of Kelly Brown to GO!
Saturday and Sunday were BOTH occupied by our Lend a Helping Can Photo Walks! My friends (and great photographers) Scott Thorp and Doug Harrington took 11 auction winners out each day to do some harbor hopping in Maine to shoot some harbors and learn about photography. Once again - we had to GREAT groups, and we all had a good time sharing and learning about the art!
Both days ended up at a brewery to celebrate a bit! And thanks so much to GREAT BAY LIMOUSINE for the luxury van that carried us around! (Thats our driver Ray in the top pic, taking the selfie!)
Here's a couple I took myself during the day - the boats were in Wells ME, and the shack was in Cape Porpoise.

Special thanks to my buddies Scott & Doug for volunteering to help with the walks for the past 10 years! Good dudes, and great photographers!
Saturday night - Valerie and I watched a movie about a dog - (don't ask me the name, I don't remember - something about finding a way home - haha) but here's the thing - DAISY WAS LOCKED ON THAT FRIGGIN MOVIE!
She sat there and actually watched the damn thing! It was hilarious!!!
And lastly- a shout out to a local artist I met while she was painting in Perkins Cove in Ogunquit ME on Sunday! She was super nice and I loved what she was painting!
Check out her work at PAINTINGSBYMER.COM! She does portraits (pets too!), landscapes and more!
It was a busy but good weekend- and Im exhausted - hahah - but have no fear- GOLF TOURNAMENT TOMORROW! #LFG!!
