Our first cruise vacation!

We have previously done all inclusives in Jamaica and Dominican Republic, but since covid the prices have gone up so much that it wasn't in the budget. I did some research and started talking to others who have cruised and we decided to book Carnival Horizon, with stops in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, Grand Caymen and Cozumel. We didn't know what to expect, but we really enjoyed ourselves. We liked that there was always something to do, different types of music, activities, casino, comedy (I didn't care much for that, haha), plus kid's club and tons of stuff for the boys to do. They went to watch a movie at an imax theater (on the ship!!!), mini golf, sky ride, water slides, pools, basketball, arcade! They had so much fun and at every port they looked at other ships that could be potentially, "our next cruise"! At the Jamaica port, we walked around and went to a beach to hang in the sand. In Grand Caymen we had booked the turtle conservatory and swam with turtles! It was a pretty cool adventure. In Cozumel, we booked an all inclusive beach club . . ..we really had a good time there, even though I blacked out! It was a strange situation! I only had 4 drinks and was perfectly fine (that was at 3pm) until next thing I know I was back on the ship (530pm), shaking like crazy and my boys wrapping me in a blanket! After I came too, I was absolutely fine! I was out to dinner with the family at 7pm, and then to a dance party and casino. What happened . . .I have no clue, but did some research and think it was heat stroke. I was slurring, delirious, couldn't walk! My boys got me back to the ship, thank goodness! Anyways, overall it was a great vacation and I think we will cruise again.
