I am posting this again because it's been awhile and perfect for this week!
In a crock pot, I put in shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, a Guiness beer, some hot salsa, paprika, cayenne pepper, chili powder, onion powder and worcestershire sauce. I continue to taste until I like the flavor. Continue to stir as cheeses melt together and set on a low heat and cook for an hour or so until everything is cooked together.
For your Blarney Puffs, I made mashed potatoes and added in chopped scallions, shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Take wonton wraps and put your mashed potatoes in the center and seal each side. Make sure they are sealed well so the mashed potatoes stay in while frying. In a fryer or in a pot of oil on stove put your puffs and fry to a golden brown. Take out and put on a paper towel to drain the grease. Dip in your cheese dip! (Also cheese dip is great with pretzels!)
