BOSTON (WBZNewsRadio) — The MBTA has released a video capturing the moment some Red Line riders got a shock when debris fell from the ceiling while they waited for the train on Monday.

Just before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, riders on the platform at Downtown Crossing were waiting for the inbound Red Line train when debris fell along the wall. Surveillance footage showed the debris falling next to a man just before the train arrived at the platform.

No one was injured and the area was contained.
