There's truth to this! I learned something new and wanted to share it with you. There's a way to know which loaf of bread is the freshest on the shelf (besides checking the expiration date).
Bread is delivered fresh to stores five days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. And each day has a different color twist tie. They are:
Monday – Blue
Tuesday – Green
Thursday – Red
Friday – White
Saturday – Yellow
Check it out: the colors go alphabetically to make it easy to remember:Blue – Green – Red – White – Yellow (Monday thru Saturday).
