Get ready to change how you fold and put away your socks when doing laundry thanks to a new TikTok hack!
UK-based Sockshop recently posted how you should properly fold socks and if you have an extra few minutes to do so you can make them last longer than they normally do.
The video, which you can see below, details that the best way to actually preserve your socks is to fold each sock over the other to forma cross and then fold inwards so that they look like a square instead of a bundled ball.
People in the comments said that the technique looks great, but that it wastes more time; however, doing this method can help preserve the elastic in your socks.
If anything, it's worth a shot to try it with a pair of socks and then compare the same pair to another pair of socks your fold normally. Everybody loves doing their own science experiments at home, right?!
