Friendly reminder that you might want to hold on to those extra bulbs that come with your Christmas lights because they actually have a secret feature!
Thanks to a viral TikTok, which was originally posted last year, but has gone viral this year, we are all just realizing that those extra bulbs with a red tip can actually cause your lights to blink on and off.
TikToker VizNelly shared the discovery online and while the red-tipped light might stand out from the other bulbs, nobody would tell the difference if you hid the one bulb.
You can see the discovery below and even if you knew about this already, at least we can all save money by buying cheaper non-blinking lights and now we can make them blink ourselves!
Also just a heads up that you might want to keep the normal bulb handy as well in case the blinking becomes a little too much for you!
