Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams is bringing former NOPD Superintendent Michael Harrison on as a consultant.
Harrison served as chief from 2014 to 2018 before taking the same position in Baltimore.
Williams says Harrison's experience will come in handy in the ongoing effort to take on violent crime in the city.
Harrison will help the DA's office strengthen cases prior to prosecution.
