  • WalletHub has just come out with their list of the Most Educated States in the U.S. for 2024.
  • They rated the states on 18 key indicators of a well-educated population in the areas of educational attainment and quality of education.
  • Once again, Massachusetts tops the list as the most educated state in the country, landing at number one for both educational attainment and quality of education.
  • Massachusetts is home to top colleges like MIT and Harvard, and has the highest percentage of adults 25 and older with at least a Bachelor’s degree, at 46%.
  • On the flip side, West Virginia lands at the bottom of the list, making it the least educated state.
