Students at Lamar University in Beaumont were given a shelter in place around 6:00 last night after a
report of three armed individuals wearing black and face masks were on campus at Gentry Hall. The
three reportedly entered a dorm and robbed an individual. They fled in a Silver Dodge Avenger heading
towards Highland Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lamar University Police
Department.
