Minnesota Twins draft pick Travis Adams is being praised for his role in rescuing a Fort Myers man from a house fire during spring training.
Along with neighbors, Adams responded to a distress call, broke through a fence to enter the burning house, and helped save the homeowner.
Despite being celebrated for his bravery, Adams, who’s currently the starting pitcher for the Wichita Wind Surge minor league team, modestly says he was just doing what he felt was right.
