Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons pick up big honor

Last Friday, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons were honored with the 2780th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Valli, who turned 90 on the same day, accepted the star on behalf of Bob Gaudio, who was unable to attend, and the late Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi.

Gaudio sent a message expressing his gratitude and disbelief at the group's journey from playing in a band to having a show on Broadway, and now, a star on Hollywood Boulevard. He thanked everyone for letting their music reach them and acknowledged his forever partner, Mr. Valli, for "still doing the heavy lifting." Legendary manager Irving Azoff also spoke on behalf of Valli, highlighting the Four Seasons' cultural significance, especially for those who grew up in the tri-state New York area.

Valli took the podium to share a few words, reflecting on his journey from his first performance at a school recital to the present day. He expressed his thrill and gratitude for the honor, describing it as a highlight of his life and "over the top."

Even at age 90, Frankie Valli shows no signs of slowing down. He’s got several shows booked this summer.
