The man who murdered a Penfield teen back in 1962 has died in prison.
James Moore was 91.
He had been granted parole in 2022 for the murder of 14-year-old Pamela Moss, but state corrections officials say he had not been released because approved housing had not been found for him.
There's no word yet on his cause of death.
Moore admitted raping and killing Moss, and had been denied parole 20 times previously.
Moore was the state's longest-serving inmate.
