Trail Behind Heritage Elementary in Grimes Closed for the Summer

(Grimes, IA) -- The city of Grimes says a local trail is closed for the summer.

The trail is located behind Heritage Elementary and will be closed due to a construction project. Crews will be working throughout the summer on a project involving the water treatment plant. The city has yet to confirm when the trail will re-open.
