(Clive, IA) -- The City of Clive is opening a new playground at Stonegate Park (15000 Boston Parkway). The original playground was destroyed by arson in August of 2023. Designers say the new playground is more accessible and is located near other park amenities, including a trail, shelter, and mini-golf course. The playground, near 156th Street and Hickman, will officially reopen Monday, June 17th.
The City of Clive is offering a $5,000 cash reward for any information that leads investigators to the person, or persons, responsible for the fire.
