JAY-Z paid homage to the G.O.A.T. Tom Brady right before he was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame.

On Wednesday, June 12, Hov and his trusted produced Young Guru joined forces for a surprise performance at the Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. The Roc Nation founder emerged from the fog while he performed his classic 2003 track "Public Service Announcement." While Guru was at the helm of the DJ booth, JAY-Z made sure to shout out Brady as he walked into the stadium.

“Foxborough, make some noise!" Hov shouted. "Put one hand in the air for the G.O.A.T., Mr. Tom Brady, tonight!”

Hov's performance was the perfect kick-off to Brady's Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The song, which first appeared on JAY-Z's The Black Album, served as Brady's official theme song throughout his lengthy career. "PSA" played every time he walked out onto the field during home games for well over a decade.

"That's been my choice for a long time," Brady said when asked about his walk-out song in 2014. "I'm a big fan of [JAY-Z]."

Brady has personally met and worked with JAY-Z in the past. Last month, the two teamed up and spoke to several NFL rookies, including the Patriots' new quarterback Drake Mayes, at a breakfast hosted by Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin.

"We talked about life and a little football, but from the tape I've been watching I think they have a great opportunity ahead," Brady said in an Instagram post. "See you all on the road this year and I can't wait to watch your progress toward greatness with tremendous determination and discipline!"
