A magician who pulled back the curtain on the secrets of magic has found new career success.
Murray Sawchuck headlined on the Las Vegas Strip for 22 years and faced backlash for recent posts showing how magic tricks are done.
Earlier this month Sawchuck resigned from the Magic Castle and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
Murray the Magician was accused of violating organizational bylaws, prohibiting the exposure of magic.
And since the controversy started, Sawchuck has been charging about four times his old appearance fee and has tripled his bookings.
