Is it 2024? or 1984? There's a new list on The Federalist with -15- examples so far here in 2024, that are right out of the classic book 1984.
'I will say, for those who remember reading it, if you weren't in the party you really didn't see what was going on, you just lived in the world that propaganda created" said Andrea Widburg, editor at American Thinker, "Which is perhaps the world we are living in."
Topping the list, which was put together by writer Monroe Harless is, 'Don't Believe Your Own Eyes' which applies to so many things we have seen under the Biden administration. The list also includes the persecution of political opponents, lies from the media, redefining the truth, destruction of the family, and the hatred of purity and goodness.
So, will we see more?
"Yes, because it works, why would there not be more Orwell on the horizon" Widburg wondered to KTRH, "The Biden administration, if it wins in November, there will be nothing to stop it."
George Orwell will not end well in 2024.
