Ms. Lauryn Hill, her Fugees partner Wyclef Jean, and YG Marley captivated the world with an incredible set.
On Sunday night, June 30, the prolific artist hit the stage and closed out the BET Awards 2024 with one of the most extravagant performances of the night. Hill opened her set by performing the title track of her iconic solo album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill then segued into her other hit "Lost Ones." Afterward, she brought her 22-year-old son YG Marley to perform his songs "Survival," which his mother also rapped on, and his breakthrough hit "Praise Jah In The Moonlight".
The Grammy award-winning rapper-singer couldn't leave the stage without bringing out her brother Wyclef Jean. The two Fugees artists tag-teamed for a special performance of their smash hit "Fu-Gee-La." The hitmaking mother-and-son duo and Wyclef gave fans a glimpse at what fans can expect during their upcoming tour.
Ms. Lauryn Hill & the Fugees recently shared the dates for their "Miseducation Anniversary Tour." The decorated rapper-singer, Wyclef Jean, Pras and supporting act YG Marley will hit the road. The 21-city international tour kicks off in Tampa, Fla. on August 9 and will continue to other major cities like Atlanta, Philadelphia, Houston, Los Angeles, and more.
Following a brief break in September, the tour will pick back up in Europe beginning October 12 in Manchester, UK. It will conclude in Amsterdam on October 22. Tickets are available now. According to Live Nation, $2 from each ticket sold will "go to the MLH Fund to benefit a list of local and worldwide organizations benefiting initiatives concerning Mental Health, Women’s Wellness, Community Small Business Development, Education and more throughout the diaspora."
