Woonsocket Police have released the name of the suspect wanted in connection with a hit-and-run on East School Street on July 1.
Investigators believe 37-year-old Andrew Michael Martin struck a pedestrian and fled the scene with witnesses telling police it appeared intentional.
The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.
Martin is facing charges that include assault to commit murder, felony assault and battery and driving to endanger resulting in serious bodily injury.
