Sunny Isles Beach, FL - Police are searching for a suspect involved in the armed robbery of a couple at a South Florida parking garage that was captured on surveillance video.

The robbery occurred Tuesday night in a parking garage on the 17500 block of Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach.

Surveillance video of the robbery captured a couple exiting their Bentley when they are confronted by a masked assailant.

The armed suspect threatened the woman with a gun while stealing her purse.

The suspect then turned his attention to the man and struck him with the gun multiple times before stealing his Rolex watch.

According to a source, the couple believes they were followed by the suspect after dining at Houston's restaurant in North Miami Beach, located eight minutes from their Sunny Isles Beach residence.

Police suspect Tuesday's robbery was an isolated incident and not connected to a series of Rolex robberies.

Authorities are actively searching for the suspect and urge anyone with information to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
