It has been a deadly holiday on Oklahoma lakes. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports two people drowned yesterday at Keystone Lake west of Tulsa. One of the victims was a 14-year-old boy and the other a 39-year-old man who tried to rescue him from Appalachia Bay. Their bodies were recovered in about 12 feet of water.

Another drowning happened on Wednesday at Lake Thunderbird near Norman. OHP says a 53-year-old Harrah man drowned after he fell off a boat while making repairs.

There was also a drowning near the Flint Creek Waterpark in Delaware County. Grand River Dam Authority Police say the 26-year-old victim's body was pulled from the water by private citizens, who performed CPR, but he died at the scene.

A search is underway for a man who jumped into Grand Lake but did not resurface. The Grand River Dam Authority Police says witnesses saw the man jump into the water yesterday to help a child who had fallen. Search efforts near the Patricia Island area are expected to continue today.
