A sea turtle was rescued by first responders Monday morning.
Martin County Fire Rescue says several deputies teamed up with fire rescue crews to help a loggerhead return to the ocean.
The turtle came ashore on Hutchinson Island to lay eggs, but became wedged between rocks while trying to make it back to the water.
She had become weak and the first responders used straps and a rescue board to free her. Video of the efforts was posted to social media.
