(Marshall County, IA) -- Two kayakers are recovering after being rescued from the Iowa River. Marshalltown first responders were called to the Three Bridges Park yesterday (Sunday). One kayaker was found in a wooded area, a second was found near the shore. Both were checked out on scene, one was taken to a nearby hospital. No word on the individual's condition.
First responders were on scene for about 90-minutes.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office, Iowa Department of Natural Resources, and UnityPoint EMS assisted Marshalltown FD.
