Man Fatally Shot in Palmdale Identified

PALMDALE (CNS) - A 47-year-old man who was shot to death in a Palmdale park was identified Friday.

The victim, who was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner's office as Thomas Dedmon, was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.

Deputies responded around midnight Wednesday to reports of a gunshot victim in the 38200 block of 10th Street East, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
