University of Houston Cougars football head coach Willie Fritz joins The Matt Thomas Show following a dominant victory over the Rice Owls to reclaim the Bayou Bucket and earn Fritz his first win in Houston. Donovan Smith threw for 142 yards and three touchdowns, and Stacy Sneed rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown in the 33-7 victory on Saturday. "We hadn't had much success running the ball in Week 1 and Week 2," but the Cougars "have made some progress here through three games," Fritz said. The Cougars will go on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bearcats in a Big 12 matchup this upcoming Saturday.
