Brewster Health Department Issues Cyanobacteria Advisory At Seymour Pond

The Brewster Health Department has issued a cyanobacteria advisory for Seymour Pond.

Officials say a visible bloom was seen during recent monitoring by the Brewster Ponds Coalition and people and pets should avoid contact with the water.

The advisory will remain in place for at least two weeks and monitoring will continue until the bloom has cleared.
