Allegan County Sheriff's detectives investigate woman's death as homicide

LEE TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- No arrests have been made yet, as Allegan County Sheriff's detectives investigate a suspicious death.

They were called to a home in Lee Township on Thursday by some concerned family members. When they got there, they found 43-year-old Mable Mills dead.

For now, police are investigating the death as a homicide while they wait for a medical examiner's findings to come back, and for the results of lab tests on crime-scene evidence.

As of time of publication late Friday morning, detectives had not said whether they have any suspects. The location of the possible crime was not disclosed. And the exact time of death had not been revealed.

Police say Mills was married.
