Chester Bennington's Mom Latest To Weigh In On Linkin Parks's New Singer

Another person has weighed in on Emily Armstrong, the new vocalist for Linkin Park, and it’s Chester Bennington’s mother. In an interview with “Rolling Stone,” Susan Eubanks said the band had promised to let her know if there were any plans to continue the group, but they didn’t. “I feel betrayed,” she said, adding “they probably knew that I wasn’t going to be very happy. I’m very upset about it.” Eubanks says she found out about Armstrong joining the band on Google. As to Emily’s performance? Susan said she watched the band’s livestream where Armstrong was introduced, but “not on purpose,” and told “Rolling Stone” she didn’t want to hear it, “But it was her, I’m just going to say it, screeching her way through a very high note. And I got out of there as fast as I could.”

Jelly Roll on Performing on "SNL": "God Is Good"

If you haven't heard, "Saturday Night Live" will have its 50th season premiere on the 28th, and Jelly Roll was announced as the musical guest.

He posted the awesome news on his Instagram and said, "The premiere of the 50th season of 'SNL'. Be right back, going to cry for a few hours and call every family member I have. Bringing therapeutic music to my favorite show ever. God is good."

Now that he's locked in to sing, the next question is . . . Will he perform in any skits? Because he has made it known that he wants to try acting at some point.

He recently sang the "In Memoriam" segment at the Emmys and was asked if he ever wanted to act. And here's what he said: "I want to be in a TV show now so I can come here every year, dude."

Jean Smart from "Hacks" and "Designing Women" will be the host for the premiere episode, alongside Jelly as musical guest.
