Juan Pardo from Kansas City, Missouri loves all things Pokémon. His collection started in around 2000 when he was 5.
His mom would get packs as gifts because he was obsessed with the Gameboy games, the Nintendo 64 games, and the show.
You can imagine Juan's excitement when he came across his cards again recently, all of which have been kept in pristine condition in a specially designated binder.
It wasn't long before he went to work trying to find out the value of the cards using a special app. Footage shared to TikTok by his partner Madeline under the handle MadelineBrice.jpg captures the moment Pardo began to realize he was "sitting on a small fortune" of Pokémon cards.
Juan estimates he has around 3,600 cards and thinks the cards he owns are worth over $5,000, with even more still to check.
